Transitioning from a 3-dimensional view and applying to a 2-dimensional drawing …

Transitioning from a 3-dimensional view and applying to a 2-dimensional drawing was never a breezy task. Our very own Van Gogh's students can vouch for it too. However, despite facing the difficulties of getting the forms, proportions and shadow right, the students managed to try their best in completing the drawing.

In this project the students learn that the key to drawing still life is:

1. Try their very best to not change the position of the sitting arrangment
2. Avoid moving or touching the objects in or order to preserve the perspective and placement
and most importantly,

Stay calm and do not get frustrated while drawing ????

They still have a long way from getting the drawing done to perfection, but it has been a very huge step and tremendously effort from them in their first still life drawing.
